WELCOME TO QUINTA DE VERMIL!

The Quinta de Vermil is located in Ardegão in a rural area, about 23 kilometers from Ponte de Lima and 15 kilometers from Barcelos, set in beautiful landscapes, this recently restored farmhouse has an original 18th century architecture, by ample and beautiful gardens, with fountains and water tanks, numerous fruit trees and vineyards to lose sight of where an excellent green wine is produced and where the visitor and host can enjoy long walks and appreciate its natural wealth.

It benefits from its location in the heart of Minho, the tranquility and ease of travel to visit tourist attractions is assured. The verdant landscapes of mountains, hills and fields, the proximity of the sea, associated with the customs of this people, the knowledge to receive the visitor and its Gastronomy, make this region a unique and fascinating place.

Accommodation
We have accommodation for 22 people (at least), divided into 7 rooms, all well furnished and differently, and 3 apartments.

Bedrooms
All rooms are furnished with genuine antique furniture, individual bathroom and direct entrance from the outside, without communication with other rooms.

Apartments
Fully furnished with bedrooms and full bathroom, equipped kitchenette, a comfortable living room with fireplace and satellite TV, and individual terrace with exotic wood furniture.

Heated and covered pool

The average temperature of our pool heated by solar panels is a pleasant 25 degrees.

With dimensions of 14 meters x 6 meters and a maximum depth of 2.10 meters, and now with a modern telescopic cover in polycarbonate and aluminum, our guests can enjoy it even outside the summer season.

Surrounded by orange trees, the swimming pool is an attraction and a pleasure for all our guests, both adults and kids.

We also have at Quinta de Vermil, Health & Welfare, so that nothing is missing

Finnish sauna and gym with modern fitness equipment:

Wooden hut, set in the garden, surrounded by orange trees and palm trees, where we find a Finnish sauna, which can be used by our guests for free. In addition to the Sauna, also with full gym, where our guests can keep their fitness.

- Our tennis court, the pool table and the ping-pong table, together with the bikes and the swimming pool, complete our sporting offer.

 Great and beautiful gardens

The extensive garden is one of the main attractions of Quinta de Vermil.
The garden is filled with a large number of idyllic places to be discovered by our guests.
The enormous regional diversity of plants and flowers is rare and will amaze any observer.
The pleasant climate of Northern Portugal ensures that even during the winter there are flowers and shrubs blooming in Quinta de Vermil in abundance.

Regional cuisine

Regional cuisine is available to our guests. It has a barbecue, a gas stove, dishwasher, all kitchen accessories and space for at least eight people.

Very well situated in the garden area and well protected from rain, it has a great view over the surrounding area.

Our guests love to use it to prepare al fresco dining and socialize with friends in the wild.
