Held in Chaves since times that are already losing their memory, the “Feira dos Santos” is today for the people of Alto Tâmega and particularly for Flavians, the festive ex-libris of the city of Chaves and this Transmontana Region.

Description

The "Saints", as it is popularly used to call this great festive event, are repeated annually when October expires and November begins. For a few days, Feira dos Santos transforms the public space where it takes place and the reality of the place. What used to be a passage space, streets and squares with their respective residents and traders, becomes a living space, full of sounds, smells and movements. The city changes, bustles, wears party clothes, the streets are filled with crowds, and commerce and entertainment take over the city. Source: https://www.chaves.pt/
