The Roman Bridge of Chaves, consists of 12 arches and about 100 meters across. It allows crossing the Tâmega River, right in the center of Chaves, a Roman construction also known as "Ponte de Trajano". One of the main tourist spots in the city.

Nowadays only 12 arcs are visible, with a maximum extension of approximately 100 meters.
