Fojo do Lobo do Avelar

Fojo do Lobo do Avelar is one of the major points of interest in Montalegre, forming part of the Ourigo Trail. It is a hunting trap for wolves, consisting of two stone walls that converge into a cobbled hole about 2 meters high, in which the animals would fall after being harassed by the popular. Covered with vegetation, it also recalls the times when the wolf was feared in the mountains.
