Description
This municipality has excellent accessibility, being 50 minutes from Francisco Sá Carneiro international airport, one hour from the port of Leixões, thirty minutes from a large train station and forty minutes from Spain.
Ribeira de Pena is on the border between Minho and Trás-os-Montes, benefiting the best of each one.
Bathed by the rivers Tâmega, Póio, Louredo and Beça, Ribeira de Pena offers its visitors clear waters that invite you to take a dip or to practice sports activities such as canoeing or canyoning in the Cai d’Alto waterfall.
Ribeira de Pena clearly assumes itself as a nature tourism destination, largely through the hotel and leisure facilities that were born in the municipality and which attract an increasing number of people.
