Parque Corgo

Parque Corgo is located on the banks of the river that gives it its name and has an area of ​​around 33 hectares; it is connected to the Parque Florestal, a true lung of the city and incorporates several equipments: multi-sports fields, pedestrian itineraries, Codessais picnic area (equipped with grills and tables), open municipal swimming pools, children's playground, cafes and tea houses; it is still possible to see old windmills, some of them recovered.

Description

A maintenance circuit is installed in the area corresponding to the Parque Florestal, which invites the practice of healthy living habits. It is in this area that some public bodies are located: Directorate General of Northern Forests, and S.E.P.N.A. da G.N.R .. On one side of the river are the facilities of the Centro de Ciência Viva.

This area of the city plays a major role in the life of the Vila Realists, with a notable link created between them, the river and the entire environment of the Park. Let the Corgo River be your host… it will let you know every corner of this Park! Come and enjoy it!
