In Largo Major Teles, half walls with the Almeida Moreira Museum, we find a garden with stunning shades offered by a unique vegetation. In the center of the garden is a sculpture from 1940, by Oliveira Ferreira, dedicated to his mother and entitled “The best sleep of our life”.

Description

José de Oliveira Ferreira was a disciple of Soares dos Reis, and this work was awarded at the XXVII Exhibition of the National Society of Fine Arts of 1930, with the 2nd place.
