Description: The deactivation of the Sabor (Pocinho-Duas Igrejas) railway line in 1988 intensified the degradation of a fabulous heritage that took years to erect. At the end of 2011, REFER and the municipality of Miranda do Douro agreed to build an ecopist between Sendim and Duas Igrejas Stations, in an extension of 15 km, similar to the already active ecopist of the municipality of Torre de Moncorvo. Protocols were also signed for the restoration of the building in the two stations and in the footstep of Fonte Aldeia, returning to these places the status of iconographic symbols of the Transmontano Northeast. It is intended that the ecopist

- which is to be completed by the end of 2015 - and all the buildings, boasting the rich heritage, gastronomy, arts and crafts, regional products and Mirandesa language itself. In the Serra do Reboredo foothills (north / east), with an extension of 24,700 meters, the route, with a pavement suitable for the indicated activities, has public illumination of the urban sections (Moncorvo, Larinho, Carvalhal and Carviçais), signage and urban furniture . The rehabilitation of the built heritage reconverted it into infrastructures of support and shelter. Description: The maintenance circuit of Vimioso is an ecopist with about 2800 meters of extension and profile of 2 meters wide, with cement-colored pavement, that connects the urban equipments Camping and Municipal Pools. It is a cycle and pedestrian circuit that has several maintenance stations, distributed along the circuit, equipment exclusively in wood, intended for physical, individual or group maintenance. The surrounding landscape is characterized by the existence of pinewood, grove, mount, grassland and wild forest, being thus a route where the contact with nature is privileged. The spaces destined to rest and leisure areas are located in strategic points that allow the enjoyment of splendid views on the surroundings that appeal to the senses, to balance and to peace.
