Distributed over two floors (taking advantage, for the purpose, of the unevenness of the land), the dwelling is composed of atrium (atrium) and peristyle (colonnade that surrounds the interior patio), occupying the totality of a single island (block), it is also equipped with a set of taberbae (stores) open on the South and West elevations.
The house was, however, deeply remodeled, already in the first half of the 2nd century, to install a thermae (thermal bath or changing room), with the respective apodyterium (dressing room), frigidarium (frying pan, or cold compartment), tepidarium (tepidarium, or tepid compartment) ), caldarium (caldário, or hot compartment) and, finally, of a praefurnium (furnace).
This area of the Roman city would also consist of porticoed areas and shops arranged by two streets perpendicular to each other, one of which still has a considerable number of irregular slabs that paved it, while the other street shows clear signs of having been repaved. at a later time through a mixture of small granite pebbles, fragments of building materials, ceramics and earth.
