Also known as the Convent of N. S. da Conceição do Monte Olivete and the Parish Church of S. Bartolomeu do Beato (name acquired in 1835), its foundation dates back to the 19th century. XVII, by the Barefoot Brothers of Sto. Augustine, installed in Portugal since 1663, and whose construction saw the launch of the 1st stone, by D. Afonso VI, in 1666. A violent fire completely destroyed the primitive church.

Reconstructed later, it was not badly affected by the 1755 earthquake. Building of Baroque architecture, classified as a Public Interest Building, which features a beautiful gallery with 3 arches leading to the interior, with a single nave, with 3 chapels on each side and one each side of the transept. Worthy of note: the 18th century chancel on whose polychrome marble altar, crowned by royal arms, displays the image of N. S. do Monte Olivete, convent patron, flanked by S. Bartolomeu, parish patron, and Sto. Augustine, founder of the order; and the tile heritage of the century. XVIII, in good condition, depicting religious scenes, court, riding, hunting and countryside, which can be observed in the sacristy, in the entrance hall and on the staircase. With the extinction of religious orders in 1834, the convent was converted into the Recolhimento of N. S. do Amparo or Grilo, which had previously been in Mouraria. From 1897 the entire convent area was adapted for the installation of the food industry.
