The Museum aims to show the public the memories of CARRIS, which over more than a century has contributed to the evolution of public transport in the city of Lisbon. This museum space also integrates the history of METROPOLITANO DE LISBOA, exposing various pieces, from uniforms and other instruments of daily use, to workshop machines and a nucleus alluding to Art in the Lisbon Metropolitan.

The visitor has the opportunity to travel through time through documents, reports, photographs, uniforms, tickets, workshop equipment, trams, buses, etc.
The Museum consists of 3 nuclei:
Core I - The company's historical evolution through documents and small objects;
Nucleus II - The old workshops are now a space dedicated to the exhibition of animal-drawn vehicles, electric cars, buses and other machines.
Nucleus III - Opened in 2012, it exhibits some of the vehicles, work and passenger transport, which are part of its reserves, and which are awaiting restoration.
Lisboa Quem és tu - Multimedia show that uses the latest technology of digital design and animation, linking the past to the present. It uses video multiprojection systems and sound multicast, takes viewers for 30 minutes on an enchanting journey through the universe of the Portuguese capital.

Monday to Friday: 10 am to 6 pm (last admission at 5:30 pm);
Saturday: 10am - 1pm / 2pm - 6pm (last admissions at 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm)
