It stands out in the religious center of Guidões, the building of the Parish Church, dating from 1879, as seen on the sign placed on the facade, between the portal and the big window that features a stained glass with the image of S. João Batista. However, the bell tower was not completed until 1881, the date engraved on the plaque placed below the opening of the belfry where the front bell is.

Description

Between the space of the current and the primitive church there are other elements of visitable patrimonial interest, such as a set of crosses of the Way of the Cross, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, some of which have already been deprived of their original materials due to recent interventions . The oldest, highlighted in the center of the ordeal, has the following inscription: «THIS WORK / MADOV FA / ZER OP (e?) JM (o) / DA MAIA / ANNO 1623".
