Welcome to Casa Santa Vitória
With 1620 hectares, dedicated to vineyards, olive groves, orchards, melon plantations, grazing and cereal crops, rock pear, plums, nectarines and peaches are the main fruits produced by Vila Galé, at Clube de Campo under the brand SV Frutas, through which the group distributes and markets in Portugal and abroad.
In the estate, it is possible to follow the whole process, from the grape harvest to transport and production in the winery. In the Versátil and Santa Vitória wine ranges, the most advanced winemaking technologies are privileged in the production of modern wines, combining them with more traditional techniques such as hand picking and treading the grapes with your feet for the most exclusive wines.
Santa Vitória was founded in 2002 at Herdade da Malhada in Santa Vitória, in the district of Beja.
It is a Vila Galé Group company that combines the most modern technologies with the added value of traditional techniques, resulting in products with high sensory quality, satisfying the highest expectations.
At Adega, this is where everything happens: winemaking, quality control, aging, bottling and storage.
Designed according to a modern, technological and extremely functional concept, it has been carefully designed and equipped to produce high quality wines.
The Vineyard has an area of ??127 hectares. The different varieties that make it up were selected in order to enhance the innate characteristics of the region's terroir.
At Olival, at Herdade da Malhada, with 200 hectares, olive varieties were planted that best adapted to the climate and soil. Varieties were selected: Cobrançosa, Cordovil, Picual, Galega, Arbequina, Koroneiki and Arbanosa.
After a selective manual harvest, the grapes are, once again, selected on carpets of choice so that only the best ones are used. Divided by several red and white varieties:
TINTED GRAPE VARIETIES - Touriga Nacional, Aragonêz, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Caiada, Trincadeira, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante, Bouschet, Syrah, Merlot and Baga.
WHITE VARIETIES - Arinto, Antão Vaz, Viosinho, Verdelho, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
In addition to the quality olive oil range under the name Santa Vitória, it also offers the best red and balsamic wine vinegars.
