It is located in the west end of the municipality of Trofa. From this point you can enjoy the entire north coast of the city of Porto, including the municipalities of Matosinhos, Maia, Vila do Conde and Póvoa de Varzim. Hence, the smooth unevenness from Monte de Santa Eufémia to the sea is noticeable, with the patchwork of smallholding fields standing out in the landscape, interspersed with small scattered housing units.

Trofa
The place is known for its pilgrimage, very old, in honor of St.ª Eufémia, which takes place annually, on the 3rd Sunday of September. There is a chapel that is still a place of worship among the fishing communities of northern Portugal, especially those in Espinho, Matosinhos, Vila do Conde and Póvoa de Varzim. This lagoon, visible from the high seas, is a traditional reference point for coastal navigation. It was equipped with a beam that, before the implementation of the current marine light and sound signaling systems (the headlights), was kept on at night and on foggy days for nautical guidance. We can also find Casa do Facho, owned by the Santa Eufémia Worship Commission, testimony to the importance of the place.
In addition to the Casa do Facho, two nuclei of the houses of the pilgrims are worth mentioning, the old cork oaks of the enclosure as well as the chapel of the century. XIX, remodeled from a previous century. XVII. It is also a place of reference, in what concerns the intangible heritage of the Municipality, given the peculiarity of the Santa Eufémia Festivities, where there are still the Rusgas à Santa, the Festival of Concertinas and Cantares ao Desafio and the dispatch of philharmonic bands.
The built heritage, the festivals, the viewpoint over the sea, the religious cult, the restaurant and the Sunday market lead to this viewpoint a large number of people, especially at weekends.
